We, a group of six, stayed for just over a week, booking a suite and a deluxe twin room. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and a friendly staff team. Gopinath, the front office manager, made sure our experience was comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel excelled in every aspect, from food and entertainment to accommodations. The restaurant offered a diverse menu, ensuring we always had new dishes to try. Room service was both quick and exceptionally friendly, much to my children’s delight. Kajintharan, who deserves a special mention, kept our room spotless daily and amused the kids with multiple towel animals. Having visited several other hotels and restaurants in Jaffna, I can confidently say none compare to North Gate Jaffna. It's the ideal choice for anyone seeking comfort, great food, and entertainment, complete with a well-maintained, sizable swimming pool.

The property was stylish and the location was very central, within walking distance of the public library, clock tower and market. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Set in Jaffna, within 1 km of Jaffna Railway Station and 1.2 km of Jaffna Public Library, Jaffna Inn offers accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... It is a nice and quiet modern hotel with good facilities. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is a fridge in the room and and tea making facilities in the lounge area outside the room. We were given two small bottles of water on arrival. The shower works well with good hot water, once you get it adjusted properly. There is a shower screen too, but like all bathrooms in Sri Lanka the bathroom floor still gets wet. The air conditioner works well and the room also has a large ceiling fan. The hotel is well located just 1.6 kilometers from Jaffna Fort and about a kilometre from the rooftop bar at the Jaffna Jetwing Hotel. Breakfast was not included but is available, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a good place to stay.

The WiFi worked great. The rooms are clean. Staff is nice and very accommodating. The minibar was a true treat as most places in Sri Lanka don’t offer a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was tasty. Tv in the room worked and had some English programming available. The hotel’s location is very good as transportation isn’t required to get many items.
