Located on the outskirts of the town of Birzai, Butenas Hotel Tyla offers simply furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, a minibar and a TV set. Free private parking is available. Great atmosphere, good value for money. Sauna and swim pool is for an extra price, though it is very comfortable for families with small children to use. There is some foam swimming equipment and glass walls of the sauna are completely seen through so you are able to see what the kids are doing, and the kids are not afraid to come in either. There is a selection of sauna essential oils we could use. The receptionist was very kind, explained everything and gave us some advice and additional info we needed. The breakfast selection is not wide, but more than enough.

The room was very specious, nice and warm. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had many options and the whole stay was good value.

The Pervaža is a modern 2-star hotel close to the centre of Panevežys, a 90-minute drive from both Vilnius and Riga. Breakfast is served in the cosy cafeteria (room service on request). Possibility to chek-in after midnight, admin is always there. Very good breakfast and coffee taste was great. Breakfast price was really good, even bit low for that amount of food ! Clean and nice big kitchen area.
