Situated in a former colonial residence, Hotel Bakoua Martinique has a beautiful tropical garden which leads onto a sandy beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. Lovely beach, pool and setting overall. Comfortable bed, I had a room right in front of beach ⛱️ Staff were super friendly and let my friends hang out at the hotel bar and pool even before check-in. Also my luggage was kept in storage after check-out for half a day and they even let me shower in an unoccupied room before I headed to airport.

It is a little way (600 meters) from the bustle of Anse Mitan and feels like an oasis, with the small private beach and nice swimming pool. The breakfast served at the snack bar was excellent (15 euros) and saved a trip into "town"in the morning.
