I slept in the dorm which was clean, quiet, confortable. Nice kitchen where you can cook your own meal. You go down a few stairs and get to enjoy the beautiful lake. Very nice view from the reception. Very quiet by night, I enjoyed my stay. Very nice staff too

If you’re looking for a peaceful and very relaxing experience I can’t recommend San Simian enough. Fantastic rooms, gardens, service and of course Laguna de Apoyo is a dream. Daniel the barman was right San Simian is Muy tranquilo!

Casa Marimba is located in Laguna Apoyo and features a direct access to this lagoon. Breakfast, lunch and dinners are all great. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is amazing.

Hostel Casa María is set in Masaya, 10 km from Mirador de Catarina, 13 km from Volcan Masaya, and 26 km from Volcan Mombacho. Very friendly and helpful. Lent us a knife and chopping board for pineapple and helped us arrange our taxi to the volcano. Spacious apartment and accommodating for bike-packers

10 km from Mirador de Catarina, Apartamentos Nokal is a recently renovated property situated in Masaya and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We really liked the location of the apartments, the accommodation provided was perfect for our needs. The place is really secured and surrounded by different local businesses, stores, drugstores, supermarket, restaurants, bars, banks and the main attraction is th central park.

Set 14 km from Mirador de Catarina, Casa Única - Room with breakfast or Cabins with kitchen offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as water sports facilities and a garden. I could not recommend Casa Única more! It was exactly what we were looking for - to get away from the hustle and bustle, to be in nature and just relax for two nights. The facilities are great! With a barbecue area, a large deck looking out onto the lake, hammocks, big couches, as well as a tube and canoe to take out onto the lake. Everything was super clean, we loved the dogs on the properly and the owner, Ben, was very inviting and friendly. Thank you for such an incredible stay!
