Hotel Lara's Planet offers pet-friendly accommodation in El Castillo de La Concepción. The hotel has a barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The location was great. The food was great - nice to have home-grown vegetables cooked well with the meals. The staff was helpful arranging tours and reserving the return boat. The room was comfortable. The views across the river from the dining area and the terrace below it were amazing.

The owners are extremely kind people, I needed to change my dates twice due to a chane of plans and then unforseen circumstances and they were very generous and understanding. I booked and stayed here both times I was in San Carlos. Overall, fantastic value and would absolutely recommend a stay here!

The host was super nice, helpful and a great cook! The rooms are confortable, located in lush greenery. The host organized an early morning boat tour at our request which is well worth it. Douglas even went the extra mile and made us breakfast at 5am as we were heading out on a boat trip around Cano Negro.... I mean.... Absolutely amazing. No food in the evening, but a superb restaurant next door meant that that was no hardship.
