Everything: location is perfect rooms are clean with a nice view. Staff is friendly and the lobby bar is awesome. Also the breakfast is very good. Will definitely be back.

Set in a 15th-century building, Prinsenhof offers individually decorated rooms. It features the Prinsenhof Gardens, a renaissance-style courtyard with a landscaped rose and herb garden. The hotel was located in a quiet corner of Groningen old city. It is a former monastery that is surrounded by gardens and within walking distance of the Martini Tower and the old town. I really enjoyed my room that had a great view of the garden. It was spacious and comfortable and had a great bathroom attached. I also enjoyed the minibar which was included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This unique design hotel offers rooms with themed décor featuring movements from art history. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, the shower worked well and housekeeping cleaned the room on every day of the stay. The girl that helped me check in was very nice and was helpful with my special request for the check out. There were bus stations only a few minutes away from the location, as well as a supermarket that was open till 22. The city center was also at a convenient walking distance from the hotel. The area felt safe and was very quiet as well.

You should take a city tour with bycicle and on your foot. We ate in a nice restaurant: Pasta Fabrik. The town is very intimate, with a very much young people. You should visit the lake near Groningen.

We arrived at 3:30 in the morning. The man at reception was extremely helpful and good humored. He made our check-in super easy and was so kind. We were asleep by 4am and checked out at 10am. We did have coffee at the cafe before leaving and everyone was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Parking in the underground garage was very convenient.
