Just 8 minutes’ walk from Kristiansand’s Markensgate shopping street, this Scandic hotel is located by the small Bystranda beach. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, an on-site restaurant and a hotel bar. The hotel was located right by the water, and we had a nice view firm our window. The breakfast buffet was amazing with many great choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Due to a snow storm we were unable to make it to the boat in Kristansand and this was our luck. We were able to add 2 more bonus days to our holiday at the last minute. And a bonus was the stay at the very friendly hospitable hotel Lillesand for sure. Stayed 2 nights in the suite in the quaint, kest-decorated picturesque village of Lillesand. Highly recommended.

I did not expect it to be so beautiful (we lived on the 10th floor)! I really liked our family room for the size and cozy details. The bunk bed for the kids was foldable which gave even more space. There were many lamps in the room and we could change the atmosphere. And the king size bed was with a good 1 mattress (not 2 matresses). Fluffy pillows and blankets. Cozy seating areas. No noise from other rooms - good soundproofing. The lounge area of ​​the hotel also deserves attention with its interior. I had a feeling that the designers really wanted to make it human-friendly. The breakfasts were just excellent! We found everything we could enjoy for breakfast.
