Tuddal Høyfjellshotel ligger i Tuddal, 12 km från Gaustatoppen, och erbjuder boende med ett fitnesscenter, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

Loved the staff and the food very much! Tommy was an excellent front reception Host! He was so good at his job and made us feel so welcome and appreciated. 💙

Vi fick väldigt god cappuchino när vi satt och jobbade i lobbyn och vi fick komma tidigare och göra smörgåspaket till frukost att ta med. Väldigt fin miljö och trevliga rum.

Lifjellstua ligger i Lifjell och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. Boendet ligger inom 10 km från Bø Sommarland och har en bar. lungt och skönt, trevliga rum och mycket serviceinriktad personal👍👍

Detta hotell ligger vid sjön Vågslidvatn, bara 4 km från skidområdet Haukelifjell Skisenter. Här erbjuds gratis WiFi och boende med vacker utsikt. Läget, bemötande av personal och mycket go middag.

Gausta ligger på 1 000 meters höjd över havet, ovanför Rjukan och Vestfjorddalen i hjärtat av Telemark. Det är 180 km till Oslo och 440 km till Göteborg härifrån. Excellent facilities and view!

Dalen Hotel byggdes ursprungligen 1894, och ligger nära den fridfulla Telemarkskanalen och sjön Bandak. Här erbjuds gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. All the staff from front desk to restaurant were exceptional. Special praise for Joao and Lorenzo . We learned so much about wine and cocktails from them.
