It was just lovely to go back in time. The view was fantastic, the ducs, alpacas (?) and the lovely dog were sweet and sipping wine bought from the tiny but well-equipped bar looking over the valley was just amazing. The hosts were friendy but didn’t overdo it. All facilities were spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the cosy dining room with other guests was a nice way to start the day. It was unfortunate that the dinner chef had a day off but we were were advised to a local restaurant where we got a decent and even gluten-free pizza for our sunset dinner in the pretty garden.

Very cosy accommodation, perfect for a couple of nights in Motueka. The location is great, the beach is literally opposite and it’s close to town. It was super easy to get to our day hike in Abel Tasman.
