My stay at the Mercure Hotel in Wellington over the Easter period was an absolute delight. The hotel's prime location allowed for easy exploration of the city, providing a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The room exceeded my expectations, offering comfort and luxury that enhanced my holiday experience. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the attentive service, was tailored to ensure a memorable stay. It was truly a home away from home, and I couldn't have asked for more from my Easter getaway.

Luxurious looking rooms with a central location in Wellington. The long entryway in the room is a great concept more hotel need to employ as it cuts you off from some of the hallway noise, and gives a nice little kitchen/desk space area. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom. The complimentary snacks/drinks in the room were a great surprise as Americans used to those sort of things costing extra in hotel rooms. Very responsive and helpful owners.

The apartment was amazing. It was spacious with lovely decor & had everything you needed to prepare a meal in the kitchen. It was great to have parking for our car in the driveway. It was an easy drive from the airport & to visit Wellington. The nearby beaches were beautiful & we spent both of our evenings there watching the sunset. Our host was very friendly. It was all so wonderful, we wish we had been able to spend more than 2 nights.

U Residence Hotel has exceptional quality. Fresh and clean, no unwanted smells, no unwanted bed bugs, thoroughly clean from top to bottom. We were over whelmed with how welcomed our bichon maltese was. She was treated to a surprise upon arrival with a cozy doggie bed and a bowl of doggie treats. Wonderful manager, friendly staff. Located within walking distance of Wellington's top attractions. We will definitely visit again :)

This historic property is situated right on the waterfront, a few minutes’ walk from the Beehive (New Zealand Parliament) and across the road from the Wellington railway station. Being a historian, I was very partial to the old-fashioned interior, especially the charming old ballroom, where I was able to mingle with other guests, but the building could definitely benefit from some serious investments in its refurbishing.

My check-in was after 11.30pm by the time I found the hotel. (Not the fault of the hotel, I think Wellington has something against clearly marked street signs). Despite the late check-in the staff were helpful and indicated safe places to park. The room was quiet, beds comfortable, shower fantastic and, best of all, the breakfast buffet was delicious. I would happily stay here again.

I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

I chose it for easy access for Wellington station (it’s a few minutes round the corner) but it’s an easy walk into the CBD/quayside as well for sightseeing. Apartment was sparkling clean, really well appointed and staff very helpful. Bed was really comfortable too! Would definitely stay again and will look at other Quest hotels when travelling in future.

The hotel is one of the cheapest in Wellington. I did not have high expectations. But the hotel is excellent . Good bed. Good shower. Comfortable room. Good service. And the price is good . What more could you want ? I saw a number of negative reviews, perhaps by people expecting a 5 star hotel after paying $150. Who knows. We had an excellent stay

Everything about Mövenpick Hotel was fabulous. The breakfast selection was great and the chocolate hour was the absolute highlight of my days in Wellington. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with any queries I had. Additionally, the lift going to street level was a very handy thing to have access to.

The hotel was in the perfect location to explore Wellington, near some amazing restaurants, shops and cafes in the heart of Cuba Street. The decor is very cool and quirky, and there are some lovely touches that make your stay really special. My son especially loved the free lolly station! The restaurant and bar downstairs are also amazing.

This Quest location is awesome....staff was great and the modern hotel space was laid out really well and very clean! The in-room washer /dryer is awesome if you need it. Great walkable location - book it! Note - The must-do Wellington Cable Car is literally a few minutes walk from the Hotel entrance....do it!

Love the shampoo, conditioner and the body wash supplied in the shower rooms! Love the dorm room I stayed in looking up at the skylights!! And cant beat the free pancakes on the weekends...yummy!!! Close to everything in the heart of Wellington and all round good fancy hostel!!! Lucas and Belu awesome!!!

Hotel is reached from the main concourse within the airport. This made it really easy to drop our bags off and go into Wellington to visit Te Papa. We were also able to walk to the Weta Cave and Roxy theatre. Considering it’s in the airport, the rooms really were quiet. Comfortable nights sleep.

Nice hotel in a good location in central Wellington. Really spacious room and huge bed. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice jacuzzi next to the pool which was really nice for a warm soak. Friendly woman at check-in and the concierge gave me some helpful advice on where to shop.

General atmosphere is amazing and so close to everything. Lovely with the croissants and coffe in the morning. Super comfy beds. Lovely extra touches such as included snacks and juice, and a chocolate fish handed out in the evening. Best location in Wellington.

Very central location, walking distance to the main attractions of Wellington. Staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations on food and what to do in town. After hours check in was easy. Apartment was very spacious and clean.

Great location to park up the car and be able to walk to most of the places we were keen on visiting in Wellington city. We were in one of the 2 bedroom apartment style houses on the top floor was very nicely presented, clean tidy.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Travelodge hotel is perfectly situated to walk and explore Wellington Botanical Gardens (accessed via cable car) Te Papa Museum, and Wellington cathedral. Very handy to have a great restaurant on site

The hotel has great character, the staff are super friendly. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect and walking distance to all the Wellington CBD areas. We would definitely stay here again.
