The apartments were much prettier than I expected. Bikes were in great condition but had no light (like all bikes in La Digue), I brought 2 small bicycle lights with me from the Netherlands so was no problem. People on Seychelles are extremely friendly and so was the hostess. Breakfast was good as well. And the location also great, it's a small island so 7 min bike ride and you are everywhere, beach, restaurants, jetty. But the best, I had a late ferry back to Mahe and was allowed to keep the room free of charge so I could go to the beach and shower when I got back (naturally they can only offer this if the room is not booked so this is not a given).

The owner is very nice and easily reachable. Felt like being invited at a family's home with the breakfast and a surprise diner served in the room Food was very good and tasty. Breakfast simple and enough.

My first impression of Seychelles was not great at all… But that was almost 3 weeks ago… One place in particular has changed my mind about this nation — Northern part of La Digue island and one amazing hotel that calls it home — Patatran hotel. I never really mention any hotel so this is truly a special place. No construction noises, no boom boxes, no trash! Spectacular location and views, best place for snorkeling on this Island, kindest staff, delicious food - it’s truly a peaceful paradise here… it’s very diffident from the rest of Seychelles… and I am very grateful to have had opportunity to call this my home and my little slice of heaven in Indian Ocean. I stayed in one of the stunning hilltop chalets and in their gorgeous “African” room, falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of crashing waves and tropical scents all around. I want to thank manager Lindy and all the generous staff of Patatran for giving me this time to recuperate and decompress in this serene location after thousands of miles through African dust. When I return to Seychelles, I won’t be staying in any other place, but here.

The room was was lovely, well equipped and cozy, with balcony looking over the sea. Breakfast was also good, fresh fruits, bacon and eggs, toast etc. It’s probably one of the most underrated hotels on booking ! They deserve an 8.5 at least !

The food served was really spectacular, just amazing! We had breakfast and dinners, each time it was prepared with care and such amazing taste. The staff was always friendly and smiling. The room was clean and decorared with little flowers, AC worked fine, which was a god-sent. It was a real pleasure to stay here. I will remember this stay for long long time :) many many thanks!

It's a beautiful hotel and the rooms are awesome and big. Nice facilities. Staff was very friendly bit a bit shy. They gave us breakfast take away when we had to leave early. They also helped with our luggage and were very keen to help us generally.
