Located in Santa Claus Village within the Arctic Circle, Nova Skyland Hotel offers accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and flat-screen TV. The accommodation features a sauna. The room was spacious, comfortable and offered amazing opportunities to see the aurora from your bed! The sauna was a bonus and there were enough trees to feel like you were closer to nature. Access to the Santa village was very easy.

Situated right next to the Ounasvaara Winter Sports Centre on Ounasvaara Fell, Lapland Hotel Sky Ounasvaara offers a restaurant and roof terrace with views over Rovaniemi city and the Kemijoki River... the private sauna, room layouts were fantastic. we had the 2 bedroom sauna suite for 2 adults and 3 kids. worked out perfectly. the hotel lobby is lovely and has great bar food- mushroom cheese sandwich, chicken baskets, chicken Caesar and also reindeer sandwich. We had dinner in the lobby 2 nights as all the sandwiches were around 10€. restaurant upstairs was 19-38€ per main. breakfast was included and beautiful. peaceful looking out the snow covered trees. there isn’t a thing we would have changed. we have traveled all over the world in luxury and this hotel we would return to in a heart beat! We booked a year in advanced. didn’t rent a car, used taxis and tour shuttles and was super easy!

And the wine accompaniment to each course were well chosen. Lastly, the activities guided by Ville were very enjoyable and appropriate for my fitness & adventure level.
