Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was quiet and very clean. Temperature was also good. Breakfast was very varied with everything one could expect and then some. Location is perfect beside station and close to center.

Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. All at an excellent price!
