We stayed in the new side of the hotel and loved the spacious rooms and design. The kids loved the pool. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice breakfast area offering so many choices to eat and drink. They even offered to cook scrambled eggs for our children. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant ensuite rooms. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. The room and the crowd were stunning. The location is excellent and there are many nice attractions around. Tanya at the reception was lovely and helped us a lot to plan the rest of the trip, explained us about Slovenia and was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend visiting there.

The rooms are large and nicely designed, the beds comfortable and the shower hot. We received a wonderful welcome from Mirjana, who greeted us with a glass of her fine Teran and we felt instantly at home. Skerlj is a historic wine estate which goes back six generations to 1788; our room was cosy and full of character with beautiful old furniture. Delicious breakfasts with homemade eggs, local jams and honeys etc. Mirjana gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. A lovely place to wind down and enjoy the atmosphere with the friendly cats and elderly dog. Thoroughly recommended, we can’t wait to return!
