Great location, few minutes from the historical park, hotel is clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. The Ruean Hotel is simply gorgeous. It is truly a unique hotel featuring beautiful, eclectic, Thai antiques throughout, creating a very warm and interesting atmosphere, surrounding a large pool. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a bathroom lined in beautiful marble. The restaurant and reception hall is equally welcoming offering a delicious breakfast in the morning and exquisite dinners in the evening. All the staff were always warm, welcoming and ready to assist with any queries. Highly recommended!

Legendha Sukhothai Hotel ตั้งอยู่ริมคลองแม่รำพัน ห่างจากวัดช้างล้อม (อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย) เพียงไม่กี่ก้าว... Fantastic staff - really professional. The helped with arranging long distance transport. Spa really good - had a nagging back problem since a long flight and the GM of the spa fixed it - like a miracle. The food was very tasty. Beer and wine prices reasonable.

Phiphu Art and Gallery Boutique Sukhothai อยู่ในสุโขทัย ห่างจากอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย 1.4 กม. The room is huge, spotlessly clean, and airy with much natural light. It has authentic Thai décor around the very comfortable bed. Free use of the functioning bikes is a huge bonus (especially when Sukhothai is such a pleasant, leafy town to bike around). The host is kind, courteous, and super helpful, who goes an extra mile to help.

For the price, this is a good option. Its located near to the night street market, which we liked, but the town itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of eating and attractions. The historical area is 12km away, 20 mins in a tuktuk 150 baht..... so if you choose here, plan to spend most of your day in the historical part and eat around there too. We noted some of the rooms said cleanliness was not up to standard but our room was fine. There was discolouration on the tiles and wear and tear in the bathroom which may give the impression of looking unclean, but it was ok. The staff are pleasant and helpful, they found us a lovely tuktuk lady who we used to get us around. If you hire a bike, choose the bike hire on the corner before you enter the historical park, its 30baht. Inside the park they are 4 x the price
