The experience of the sleeping in a tent was great, very familiar atmosphere. We also added an excursion with camels and a dinner among the dunes... gorgeous!

This hotel is located on the edge of the Sahara Desert in Douz, central Tunisia. It has 2 swimming pools and a spa and wellness centre with massage and relaxation treatments. You can organize lot of different activities through hotel staff (camel or horse riding, bikes, etc. ). Food was nice, rooms are clean, we even had a mini fridge. Would recommend.

Grand Sud, la maison de sable is situated in Douz and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We loved the place. The last property before the desert, we came and there was wind starting to blow so could not go for long in the desert but still the stay was worth it. Mohammed is an amazing host, very nice, open and with attentions. We would definitely come back there if we want to stay longer in the desert.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views. Everything was excellent including facilities, bedding, shower and towels. Very welcoming. It was the nicest place that we stayed in during the past month in Tunisia and Morocco. Excellent breakfast and cookies. If we could rate it higher than 10, we would.

Maison Proche De Désert Douz is situated in Douz and offers barbecue facilities. L’acollida meravellosa. El sopar va ser boníssim. Llàstima de la família que el va compartir amb nosaltres que no es va comunicar en cap moment. Està a 10 minuts caminant de la porta del desert.

Private Camp25km-from DOUZ is a recently renovated luxury tent in Douz, where guests can make the most of its massage services and shared lounge. Mohammed the personal singer and Abdel the cook were simply amazing. hospitality second to none and full of information about their local culture. I booked on the same day via what's app and the owner was very accomodating and picked us up just several hours after initial contact to take us to the tent. What a unique experience !
