For being designed completely. code-accessed (no physical staff when I arrived early evening) the instructions sent to me were clear, & thorough. I didnt realize til after I booked a hotel was set up that way: both outdoor access Hotel doors say Highliner Hotel is the 1st Alaska code-acess-only hotel. Bed, linens, furnishings very comfortable. Clearly a complete remodel of an existing building. Note: basic in-room coffee, (no tea), yes fridge. About 1 block to new Fire Island Bakery toward downtown & block to Credit Union bank, each. Convention center just blocks away. Extensive Park greenspace 1 building away across a street.

This was by far our favorite stay during our trip to Alaska. Teal was wonderful, room and facilities were clean, and the common areas comfortable. Don’t delay and book this property for your trip, only 4 rooms on the property!

Boasting a shared lounge and a bar, Aloft Anchorage is situated in Anchorage, 2.8 km from Sullivan Arena and 3.9 km from Dena ina Civic Convention Center. When I showed up I was pleasantly surprised, and then super surprised when I was the guest of honor randomly picked. My grandson was ecstatic. They upgraded our room, and the pool was an absolute blast cleanest place I’ve ever been as far as hotel, and the people were very very kind.

White Moose Lodge is located in Healy. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a barbecue. The lodge is a simple motel, hidden in the forest, away from the highway running through Healy. It is located ten minutes from the Denali National Park and super close to an awesome brewery, the 49th State Brewery - the locals’ meeting point, restaurant, bar, quite great (try the halibut and the salmon). The place is modest but it is clean and has all the necessary amenities, like a microwave or a fridge. A grocery store (not impressive) is 0.5 miles away. The shower is great.

Good location, tasty breakfast and nice service, especially the elderly shuttle driver was pretty friendly. He taught us how to drive in the crazy snowy days and was very sweet. Really wanted to tip him, but we didn't have cash with us and really so sorry about that.
