I didnt realize til after I booked a hotel was set up that way: both outdoor access Hotel doors say Highliner Hotel is the 1st Alaska code-acess-only hotel. Bed, linens, furnishings very comfortable. Clearly a complete remodel of an existing building. Note: basic in-room coffee, (no tea), yes fridge. About 1 block to new Fire Island Bakery toward downtown & block to Credit Union bank, each. Convention center just blocks away. Extensive Park greenspace 1 building away across a street.
