Fagamalo
Offering beach and sea views, Savaii Lagoon Resort is located in Fagamalo. Guests can enjoy a drink or meal at the onsite beach bar and restaurant, or snorkel out to the coral gardens. Thank you Savaii Lagoon staff, Robyn for being a welcoming host and allowing us to meet your furbaby Poppy. Our aiga-family of seven stayed in two bungalows with kitchenette, comfy beds, free parking, lots of space for kids to play, drinking water was safe, showers outdoors and indoors plus our rooms were clean and serviced daily. The sandy and crystal clear Fagamalo beach was metres from our front door and views of sunrise and sunset was amazing 🙏🏽
Saleaula
The property provides free private parking. With free Wifi, this 1-bedroom apartment features a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and microwave. I liked meeting the friendly local lady and her daughter in the laundromat where the keys were issued. Said adjacent laundromat is open very late and seems to be a social meetup point -- I was up late most nights so no worries, but if you have an early alarm, tell the lady at the laundromat and she will shut it down earlier or tell the locals to socialize elsewhere besides outside your bedroom window. Overall, this is a very nice spot at a good price point. The wifi is solid, it's nice to have laundry service, and the carport was great when packing my car during a downpour. If you don't have a motor vehicle, search elsewhere, but with a car you are very close to some great spots and good eats, paying way less than those staying at the resorts.
Manase
Located on Savai'i Island, Stevensons at Manase offers a secluded beach and reef for snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. Good rooms and dining, on beach, good location for western side of Suvai’i. very good restaurant.

Fuailalo (Near Savaii)
Featuring a private beach and pool with ocean views, this luxury resort faces a beautiful lagoon surrounded by coral reefs. Lovely staff!! And beautiful area. The location is more isolated from the wind. And the food is good for value.
Mulifanua (Near Savaii)
Set within 224 acres of tropical gardens, the Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort features a lagoon-style swimming pool and a day spa. Each beachfront room features a balcony or patio offering ocean views. Sure the hotel is a little tired in places (soon to be refurbished)..but the staff (all, not just some, but especially Front of House) were exceptional. By Samoan standards too (and Samoa is known for its unwavering hospitality)
Mulifanua (Near Savaii)
Located in Mulifanua, Transit Motel provides a garden. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor pool. It's good value for your money. I didn't expect too much but the place was a convenience and I got my money's worth.
Maauga (Near Savaii)
Nestled on a plantation among tropical fruit trees, Ifiele'ele Plantation offers seclusion and luxury, self-catering accommodations. It also features a swimming pool, tennis court, and BBQ area. Ifiele’ele Plantation is a really beautiful property. We stayed in The Villa & just loved it. The glass doors open out to a patio where you can sit, looking out over the beautiful pool & an amazing vista beyond. Perfect place to read a book & listen to the birds. Paul & Joan were fabulous hosts, really friendly & helpful but not the slightest bit intrusive. They made us feel very welcome.
Free wifi is now available so fantastic Best place to wind down before you go exploring SAMOA 1. Take the ferry to Savaii - this is an amazing island - go stay at SAvaii Island resort 2. Go to the waterfalls in Falele'sela on the other side of the island UPOLU - Jane and Olly Va'afasuaguasa run this amazing place - great to stay in a village in a fale and experience the real Samoa
It’s the main part of Savaii and near the ferry. It’s a must experience to not only go to Upolu but to experience Savaii
Fagamalo
Great spot, the lagoon is perfect for families with young children, the restaurant food is amazing - we were always looking forward to seeing what was on the menu for dinner that night as it changes each day! They have snorkelling gear and kayaks free for guests to use. Really lovely staff and owners who remember your name and make you feel at home. (I do recommend getting a car and having this organised before you get to Savaii or even Samoa as it is on the opposite side of the island to the ferry and other visiting spots)
Manase
Absolutely loved our stay a Stevensons. Definitely nice to get away from the busy Capital of Samoa. Savaii is the island to be for a relaxing time away from urban city.
