Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 950 metres from Apia's town centre. Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable, Gary and Cheryl.

The Samoan Outrigger Hotel offers a pool, Wi-Fi access and accommodation with air conditioning or mosquito netting just 15 minutes’ walk from downtown Apia. Staff was super friendly and super helpful!

The girls (in particular Ana and Brenda) were always super friendly and helpful (they welcomed me with a niu and fresh fruits when I arrived on a very hot day, gave me plenty of bottles of water when everything around was closed on Easter etc.). The rooms were great (I stayed there twice) with good AC and fresh breakfast every day.

Moatoga Hotel is a family-owned hotel, situated in the heart of central Apia. Breakfast is okay if only we have a cafeteria for the guests to enjoy their breakfast instead of inside the room coz there's no dinning table except to sit outside the room. Location is nice but we need a bigger parking lot for the guests sometimes we don't have a parking spot. It's unfair for us guests to park on the road and we are paying for the room and to make sure our car is in good hands.
