Well located in town, but not in the hustle and bustle, so close enough to be super convenient and have good views, but not in the middle of it all. Staff was exceptional, helpful, professional and friendly. Some stand out staff names Brenden (check in), Steve and Wandile(wait staff). Hotel is small, well maintained and beautiful. I would recommend staying in the larger rooms - Mona Lisa room is excellent with its own terrace.

The staff and Margie were amazing. They were a huge help in planning special treats such as massages, pasta making class, and other trips. They also assisted a great deal with the current load shedding situation. They sent the schedule and made sure we had ways to cook with a gas stove during load shedding. Also, the Wifi had a backup battery to allow for it to continue to be available throughout loadshedding. A perfect getaway. We will be back.

Framed by majestic mountains and sandstone cliffs, this 4-star hotel is ideally located in the picturesque town of Clarens, Eastern Free State. The location is outstanding, we had a room with view to the mountains with a balcony and we had a window with view in another direction. The design of the hotel is brilliant, very modern. Parking is in the building, very comfortable. Food and breakfast both very good. Wifi very fast and excellent. You can walk from the hotel to the center of town. One of the bet hotels I have ever visited. And the price is decent, high value for money.

We arrived very early (5 hours before check in) and they accommodated us without any issues. The staff is incredible and always assisted when needed. I forgot my purse and they called us right away when we left and returned it to us when we got there-the service was amazing! The property is perfectly located if you want a rest night on your way to Durban as it’s right off the highway which was perfect! The bed slept great!!
