Located in Kleinsee and within 700 metres of Kleinzee Golf Club, Beach Cottage Kleinzee features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views. A comfy eclectic hideaway near to the sea. Everything you could need was available in the home. A washing machine was very appreciated. Good line out the back The cooker was very useful in the cold spell. The lighting was bright and plentiful & used eco bulbs. Better than in most rentals!! Load shedding did not occur here which was a relief! However, that would not have been problematical as there was a gas heater with 3 levels. We were toasty & comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The kitchen had every tool you could possibly need! Plenty of china glasses and cutlery. Good wifi.

The rooms were clean, warm and properly furnished for overnight guests who are just passing through, or for those wanting to stay a few nights in order to explore the region with its beautiful flowers. Business travelers are also well advised to use their facilities, which are quite good. The food was exceptional, well prepared and tasty. A bonus was that the chef knew exactly what to do when we informed him that my wife is gluten and lactose intolerant (coeliac disease). She could eat everything that was prepared for her and did not have any problems at all. I would really recommend a stay, also because of the historical setting of the hotel and the information it provides on the history of the town. Well done!

The landscape is spectacular. It is a place you can lose yourself for weeks. The hosts are wonderful and knowlegeable about the area making it easy to explore the best areas.

Frontier River Resort is located in South Africa, 6 km from the Vioolsdrift Border Control to Namibia. Kotzeshoop is 5 km away. The resort is on the banks of the Orange River. The grounds and luxury tents were in a nice setting with a lot of seasonal planting upgrades, like their own orange grove, that I would love to return to see in the future. Because the facility is on a hillside, owners were concerned with my walking with a crutch but I managed well. Really enjoyed falling asleep with the tent flaps open so I could look at stars, wake to first sun light and bird song. Everything from bedding to towels and toiletries made me feel like I was in a luxury spa. I really enjoyed the owners young son who was concerned about compression wraps on my legs. He sat me in a chair in front of the tent, went and got my book and kept me entertained until my husband came back from his walk. Such a big heart, full of compassion, in such a small body.

Nuwefonteinskop Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kotzesrus. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. The hosts were perfect and after a very long drive they did everything to make us comfortable. The walk up the Koppie was unexpected and a real treat. If you want noise and nightlife do not go but if you want tranquility under the stars it is just the perfect place.
