If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, look no further. We stayed for 4 nights, in a Best on the Beach, and everything was fantastic. The menu really stood out, and you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Must try’s are: pork ribs, pasta with shrimp, cerviche, croquettes. The side salads were always bright and fresh as well. The on-site bakery makes some of the best bread and pastries I’ve ever had (don’t miss the chocolate pistachio danish or the croissant!). As someone mentioned in another review, it’s got an Art Deco/Havana vibe - really well designed and decorated with lots of greenery. Highly recommend having a massage as well - the foot scrub at the beginning was lovely to start. We liked that it wasn’t a mega resort, so it felt a bit cozier. We had some windy weather while there, so didn’t try many activities but they offer loads. Someone mentioned the beds/pillows are soft, we thought the same, but you can request to have a firmer mattress topper which solved the problem for us! One thing to note, they don’t include fridges in the room (to reduce the amount of electricity used and be more sustainable) but they’re available on request. The staff was fantastic and went out of there way to make sure you had a great time as well. They had live music two of the nights we were there, and the singers were both great. All in all an amazing trip, and we’d definitely stay again.

One & Only Mauritius has the sweetest team and we wish to come back soon or in general we've developed trust and engagement with One&Only brand.

This was our second visit and we loved it even more than the first one. The team is very friendly and took a great care of us. We loved the food, at all restaurants. I highly recommend the lobster menu, it was absolutely phenomenal. Nicoletta from Coral bar takes such a good care of her guests, I’m sure they all appreciate her as much as we did. Our housekeeper Ram is the sweetest, he surprised us every day. I recommend the spa center, the yoga class, the gym is very nice and comfortable, Dolce Vita restaurant. If you are traveling for fruits like me, you would most probably like to visit a local market and buy all the fruits you like - book a trip with the sports center on the beach. Our most favorite trip was swimming with the dolphins (book at the touristic agencies counter next to the gift shop), but 5 islands with Chris (he walks around the beach), was also amazing and it’s worth doing. The medical center in the hotel is very reliable, they did the impossible to deliver all needed medication and care we needed. It was another amazing vacation at Ambre and we hope to be back soon.

Totul este frumos, multa vegetatie, imediat cum intri sunt multi copaci, plante, palmieri. Receptia este foarte cozy, camerele mari si spatioase. Personalul f amabil. Mancarea diversa si f gustoasa.

solana beach was great, we stayed in the resort for 10 days this past october. A good selection of restaurants, the buffet meals were great and the service was good! The beach is rocky but if you move 50m away there a small spot rock/coral free. they have a good selection of entertainment, we didn’t do any of them as we had our whole holiday planned out, but if you plan to stay in the hotel you’ll find something to do!
