I booked Velero Beach Resort for a bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends. The resort offered a penthouse suite that was well-priced and accommodating. Upon arrival, the security guard who was posted on the street made sure we were with the hotel and then let us through. Check-in was firmly at 3 pm but we were able to go to the pool and hotel bar until we wanted to check in. The front desk attendant (Juan) was so nice and welcoming. He gave us all the info we needed and let us know we could come to him for whatever we needed. The room was so clean! I've stayed in other places where the room smells like mold and this hotel did not! The housekeeping staff were equally as nice. One morning my sister was sleeping and I asked that they not go in her room. They were so quiet that she didn't even know anyone came. We also somehow locked ourselves out of our safe. Juan sent someone up that helped us reset the safe and made sure one of us was in the room to reset the safe again, which made us feel safe. The hotel itself is located at the beginning (or end) of the main strip of Cabarete. The beach was clean and we were never bothered by vendors as the hotel beach is blocked by rocks and barricades. The beach is also safer than most other parts bc of the rock barricades, so we were able to swim carefree. We felt safe at all times. The resort also has their own bar and restaurant, which was great. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. You can also order food from the bar and bring it to the pool. Overall, Velero Beach Resort rose above our expectations and I will recommend it to anyone looking to go to Cabarete!

Cabarete Maravilla Eco Lodge Boutique Beach Surf, Kite, Yoga se găsește în Cabarete, la 7 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Encuentro, și oferă o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun și... The Eco Lodge is amazing. If you, like me, prefer to travel consciously and authentically this place is all that! Local and kind staff. Waking up and being able to hear the ever changing sea before even opening your eyes is truly wonderful. There's a chill island vibe at the spot - doesn't really feel like a hotel - and I mean that in the best way possible. I definitely felt recharged after our stay there and it was our favourite place out of 4 in the DR. Cabarete is a nice town 10 min/600 pesos away (Sosua too). If you plan on exploring the area, it's probably better to rent a motorcycle. There are other tourists, but not to an extend where the town loses its identity. All in all we really loved it.

Iberostar Costa Dorada is located in Vuelta Larga, 14 km from Sosúa. The hotel has a spa centre and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Excellent personal! everyone so very humble and helpful. 🥰🥰 I love it 😻

I love the open space in the house . Really organized and comfortable. The security they have. The pool was amazing and the restaurants. The staff were great Masiel , Anyolina and Osiris were excellent staff.
