Breakfast was amazing with many options, the smoothies tasted so good. The location little bit hard to find, they should put some sign in the front of the resort. But overall our stay was amazing, the staff was friendly.

I stayed here with my husband in February. It's a little late, but I left a review because this hotel was so good. Both the owners and the staff were so kind that I felt very good. The owner talked to all the guests with interest and gave them information and warm attention so that they could continue to have a pleasant trip. Through the conversation, I could see that the owners prepared a lot to open AQ. The facilities were also very good. The interior of both the room and the bathroom was very good. Breakfast was good, too. We would like to stay here again if we come to Finland again.

A magical winter wonderland and everything looked like the pictures online. The rooms were a great size and the glass dome was unreal - perfect northern lights viewing. The food for half board was delicious. There are also a lot of great excursions and activities you could book.

Aurora Village Ivalo is situated in Ivalo and offers cabins with a glass roof, offering the possibility to spot the Northern Lights from the bed. The staff is very nice, they have a good amount of activities, and the rooms are tidy and comfortable

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. The property has its own reindeer paddock, where guests are welcome to watch and pet the reindeer. First of all the location of the hotel is perfect in nice and quite place with no light pollution. Cabin was big enough, clean and warm with beautiful view on the Aurora if you are lucky (we were lucky :-)). Breakfast and dinner were in the form of buffet where everyone will find it's prefered meal. For example we really enjoyed local smoked (grill taste) salmon for a diner and variation of food for a breakfast. Before leaving we rented a cross-country sky from a really nice and helpful receptionist which gave us all information we needed :-) There were more options for a free time, but we did not use them that time...maybe later :-) If you want to see the Aurora or just relax, this is a perfect spot :-)

Opened in December 2012, this Finnish Lapland property is set in Ranua Wildlife Park, 5 minutes’ drive from central Ranua. We wanted to visit Ranua wildlife park to see Finnish animals and found it very easy to book an overnight stay in Villa Gulo Gulo. This included a free buffet breakfast as well as access to the wildlife park for 2 consecutive days for the price of one. We went on the afternoon on day of arrival and again the next morning, and saw all the animals over the two days. We stayed in Ahma which was perfect for a family of 5, and had excellent facilities, including a nice sauna, wood-fired heater and particularly nice lighting. We also booked an experience via Villa Gulo Gulo and went on an Aurora hunt by snowmobile at night. The warm clothing provided is a must as the temperatures are well below freezing and the wind chill factor is significant. Our Spanish tour guide was friendly and informative and we enjoyed hot Glögi and toasted marshmallows by a fire in the wilderness. Seeing the snow-laden trees at night was a special experience and this tour exceeded our expectations, even though we did not see the Aurora on the tour (due to cloudy weather). We would highly recommend staying at Villa Gulo Gulo with a family.

Everything was perfect. Room, breakfast, new year's eve dinner, home made Italian pizza. Even Northern lights.
