Thank you Fadzli and Jill(sorry guys if i spelled your names wrongly, and sorry to the rest as I did not catch your names). Met the owner, Hafiz, awesome guy. The place is so welcoming, even the cat named Tuxedo, rests on top of me while i was relaxing on the hammock. He makes me feel at home.

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. Absolutely beautiful! A wonderfully peaceful oasis in Sepilok right next to the orangutan rehabilitation centre. Being surrounded by nature was my favourite part, we even had some visitors in the form of orangutans on a couple of occasions! food was simple, but there was an authority, and it was tasty! We loved our experience here, so much that we booked an extra night!

The Magellan Sutera Resort menawarkan kamar-kamar dan suite dengan dekorasi yang apik serta dikelilingi oleh taman lanskap dan kolam renang terbuka yang luas di Kota Kinabalu. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly, attentive staff. Great choice at breakfast. Our hotel itself was beautiful, ample facilities across the resort. Great for kids-multiple pools, indoor/outdoor play areas, bowling alley. Definitely recommend booking a boat trip over to Manukan island for the day-a little bit of paradise

Spacious room, we love the view overlooking the sea as we were able to catch the sunset from our room balcony. We love the various tea selection in the room, they welcomed us with a mini birthday decoration for me even when I did not request for any. Facilities were great. The children loved the pool and the water slides very much. Location was great as its a short 15 mins drive to the airport, a short drive (can walk but with smallnkids it can be quite a distance) to the Tanjung Aru Beach Night Market and also nearby many food places. It is also a short 12 mins drive to the famous Filipino Market. A must visit when you're in KK! Breakfast spread was really good. A lot of varieties to choose from but it was quite crowded when we were there, there were many travellers from overseas so if you go for breakfast after 9am, some food may have finished. Can easily book island hopping via Star Marina at Shang Ri La. We had a great time at Manukan Island booked via Star Marina. In addition, staffs were accommodating and welcoming. Definitely will stay here again when I visit KK in the near future!

Kokol Haven Resort menawarkan akomodasi bintang 3, dan terletak di Kota Kinabalu, 15 km dari Pasar Filipina Sabah dan 11 km dari Masjid Kota Likas. Breakfast is ok but the view in the environment is like in heaven 10/10

Sepilok Forest Edge Resort is a nature retreat in Sandakan, a 15-minute walk from the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Su has been really helpful 🙂 we loved our stay! Totally recommend them!
