The facilities are clean including the pool. The owners and staff are exceptional and very responsive, attentive, inclusive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the island. We were able to book 2 island tours and rent scooters directly with the lodge which was convenient. The breakfast is simple but delicious made with high quality ingredients. The bar's cocktails were good too. Conveniently located half way on West side of the island. Walking distance to ATM, restaurants, bars, beach, and shops. We stayed in the smallest bungalow which was still comfortable for 2 people. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Koh Lanta. Absolutely quiet in the night, great for light sleepers. 3 mins to to beach, 2 mins to Tamarind restaurant for breakfast or lunch, 3 mins to the main road with plenty of restaurants. The bungalows are new, very well kept with daily cleaning. The towels changed every other day. Wifi reliable. The family who owns and runs this small resort is a wonderful proof that on Ko Lanta one can still find true thai hospitality not ruined by negatives of quickly changing society. The same applies for the people in the area working in restaurants, small stores and services. I would recommend Pana resort to my own family. The owners even helped my wife with a minor healthy issue. On the more funny note - I suspect that the resort is in reality owned by around 30 cats we saw around and they let people to use it ... :)
