Very nicely located minshuku. Perfect for a stay after the first etappe of Kohechi trail. Since there was no accomodation available in Miuraguchi, after the second part of Kohechi, they arranged transport for us from Miuraguchi and back next morning! Iyuko waited for us and helped us out since one person had an accident in the mountains. She is a phantastic person! Excellent food and bento. Nice rooms. Public bath, free transport to it. We felt at home here all of us!

Beautiful temple. The experience was amazing. The location is very good, close to the cemetery and not far from the other temples. The dinner and breakfast were very good. It was very nice to see the ceremonies in the morning. Nice onsen to relax.

Absolutely incredible experience that I highly recommend. The monks were so accommodating despite this not being a hotel, but rather an active temple. They speak English very well. The rooms are so beautiful, as is the temple. the bathrooms are modern and the bathing area is lovely. Do keep in mind the baths are only open at night from 4-9pm! you cannot use them in the morning. I saw a review saying that the heating wasn't adequate but that was not the case when I went. they had normal room heaters that kept the room nice and warm despite the rest of the temple being cold (it's February) so bring warm clothing for sure! I unfortunately missed the fire festival because I didn't know about it before checkin (pm) and I left before the afternoon the next day. the ceremony is at 1pm daily. I'll be sure to go next time. They offer you dinner and breakfast in private rooms and it was so delicious and so filling. Especially because it's all vegetarian I was so happy.

Supernice place. Everything was perfect : Our room, dinner&breakfast and hospitality. Fudo-in it's just 2 minute walk from the main road of Koyasan, not so crowded and with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Unique experience. The inner calmness, the obsessively aesthetic garden, amazing dinner & breakfast, interesting morning prayer. The town is mystical and a sanctuary. Highly recommend to visit the cemetery in an organised tour.
