Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. Staffs were very nice and friendly. Comfortable room, bed, and bathroom. Dinner was delicious.

17 km from Koriyama Station, Tabist Onsen Petit Hotel Yukori Bandai Atami is a recently renovated property located in Koriyama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was big and very nice. There were extra blankets in the closet. The staff were all helpful and very kind. The location is near the station if you come by train. I went by car and there was lots of parking. The water available was great. Nice after a bath.

Located in Ashinomaki Onsen, 渓谷美の宿川音 provides air-conditioned rooms with private open-air hot spring bath. Love the Ashinomak onsen town. We went for the annual snow festival in Ouchi Juku and it was so nice. The view from our window was snowy mountains and the futons were comfy. The staff was so friendly, they called a taxi to take us to the snow festival and the taxi got us there and back. They have tea and water in the lobby. The decor is very nice and good for photo ops. Parking was available even without reservation and of course the onsen was nice.

10 km from Nihonmatsu Station in Nihommatsu, mt. Inn(マウントイン） offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. This 2-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. Very cool place! The staff were so lovely, the rooms are huge and comfortable- we wish we stayed longer than 1 night!

Boasting hot spring baths with mountain views, Kutsurogijyuku Chiyotaki is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station. Very authentic Japanese style accommodation with fantastic hospitality.. Excellent facilities and we will definitely visit again. We had buffet breakfast and the food was delicious. We should have stayed 2 nights.

Featuring 4 hot spring baths with free flowing spring water, Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki offers accommodation located a 15-minute bus ride from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station. There are three bath options which all came with lovely views! Also, both meals were outstanding. Despite being a buffet service, the breakfast had abundant high quality options. I love that they really stuck to their theme of using Aizu ingredients - a proud hotel with pride for their local culture is something admirable.

Set in Aizuwakamatsu, 500 metres from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, Onyado Toho features free WiFi access and free private parking. Everything. I went to complain that there were no pillow nor duvet covers but didn't realise we need to let them know we are ready so they can send a whole team to set up the beds. Very impressed.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of mountain, Shosuke-no-Yado Takinoyu is a ryokan situated in a historic building in Aizuwakamatsu, 3.4 km from Mount Iimori. Amazing onsen, really nice staff

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. Nice location, great food, great onsen, have private onsen but too little time table for reserve.
