Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. This was a great experience in Japanese style and hospitality and we enjoyed it a lot. Needless to repeat what everybody says, the breakfast is great. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to stay for another night and treat us to a dinner.

There were extra blankets in the closet. The staff were all helpful and very kind. The location is near the station if you come by train. I went by car and there was lots of parking. The water available was great. Nice after a bath.

Located in Ashinomaki Onsen, 渓谷美の宿川音 provides air-conditioned rooms with private open-air hot spring bath. Love the Ashinomak onsen town. We went for the annual snow festival in Ouchi Juku and it was so nice. The view from our window was snowy mountains and the futons were comfy. The staff was so friendly, they called a taxi to take us to the snow festival and the taxi got us there and back. They have tea and water in the lobby. The decor is very nice and good for photo ops. Parking was available even without reservation and of course the onsen was nice.

Boasting hot spring baths with mountain views, Kutsurogijyuku Chiyotaki is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station. The room and the hotel are very clean. Our room is very big and comfort. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Nice spa (inside and outside) but we prefer the outside.

Featuring 4 hot spring baths with free flowing spring water, Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki offers accommodation located a 15-minute bus ride from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station. There are three bath options which all came with lovely views! Also, both meals were outstanding. Despite being a buffet service, the breakfast had abundant high quality options. I love that they really stuck to their theme of using Aizu ingredients - a proud hotel with pride for their local culture is something admirable.

Set in Aizuwakamatsu, 500 metres from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, Onyado Toho features free WiFi access and free private parking. Everything is perfect,the staff is very helpful , the breakfast and the dinner is very delicious

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. Simpy WOW! It is really an amazing place. We stayed there for one night just to get the experience in staying in a ryokan with onsen. We like anime so we chose this one as it has some features of Demon Slayer anime :) Room was amazing, sleeping on futons was really comfortable. Room was spacious. We were wearing yukatas during our stay and it was just amazing! Onsen was wonderful! And the dinner - OMG - super tasty! we felt really welcomed there and taken care of. One staff member who spoke English very well was explaining us what we were eating, how to cook different parts of the meal etc. It was so lovely. We really appreciate that! If we ever come to Japan again we will go there for sure.

Boasting various hot spring baths and an indoor pool, Sansuiso Tsuchiyu Spa is traditional Japanese-style accommodation located next to River Ara. Free WiFi access is available throughout the... The pictures do not do the onsen at this ryokan justice. We arrived later than I had hoped because our car's navigation lead us in the wrong direction, but the staff never made us feel guilty and helped us to check in. Our room was Japanese style with a great view of the garden and the ravine the river flows into. My tween found the futons very comfy. They worked with our dietary restrictions to make a wonderful multi-course Japanese meal, though I admit, I think I still liked the tempura course best. My tween slept through breakfast, but I really liked the fruit smoothie, which was lighter than I expected. The onsen are amazing here. There is the very traditional looking bathes overlooking a waterfall as well as two other floors of onsen, some of which rotate between men and women. Most of the onsen are also quite deep. My only regrets are we arrived late and couldn't explore the town and that I didn't buy the special chopsticks for sale here.
