Oyado Koto No Yume ligger 2 minuters promenad från Takayamas station och erbjuder färgglada rum i japansk stil. It's really hard to express how superb this stay was. And it was only 1 day. I imagine this is thanks to type of the place, not being typical hotel, but rather traditional ryokan with it's quality. From the beginning, the staff was excellent. Helpful, informative, easy to talk to. The room, comparing to our other hotels, was huge. Sleeping on futon was our best sleeping experience during whole stay in Japan. We have booked private bath, and again - everything well prepared, all important things available in the room. We were provided also with yukatas to be used in ryokan, but in addition we could also use more colorful that could be used outside. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from main station and on the way to old town of Takayama. The last but not least - breakfast was the best we had in Japan. We have chosen Japanese one and we could try many elements.

Iroriyado Hidaya ligger i Takayama, 18 minuters promenad från Takayama station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. The location, facilities, staff and breakfast was excellent. The Onsen was outdoor and had a beautiful garden setting. The check-in was very personable and informative about what to see and where to eat. We will return.

I love everything in this Ryokan. Staying here makes you feel like home because the members of the family who own it are the ones attending to us. They made sure that our stay would be very comfortable and memorable. In just one night, we fell in love with this wonderful family who hosted us like we are part of their family. We love them. The food they serve were organic and very fresh. The deer that had was hunt by one of their family members, the little kids who were like 4 and 6 years old were also present and even served us tea (how cute!). My daughter celebrated her birthday here and they truly have helped made it fun and memorable for my daughter.

Mozumo ligger i ett lugnt område i regionen Gifu, en 52-minuters bilresa från JR Takayama Station. Här erbjuds bad med varmt källvatten och rum med modern japansk inredning. Amazing. Just amazing. The in room onsen was really good. The food was really good. The staff was polite and accommodating. The location was a short walk from the bus terminal. Just amazing.

Yatsusankan erbjuder boende i traditionell japansk stil med rymliga offentliga bad. Här bor du 6 minuters promenad från tågstationen JR Hidokoukawa. This was such a highlight to my holiday. The mountain view room was excellent and beautiful. Having a private bath was an excellent option due to having tattoos. The relaxation room was tranquil and welcoming. The location is easy to get to and wonderful to stroll through the town and take in the amazing culture. I never wanted to leave and I can't wait to go back.
