It was the most perfect and ideal bed and breakfast experience I’ve had so far.

Ryokan Yamamuro ligger 5 minuters bilresa från JR Kanazawa Station och erbjuder rum i japansk stil med gratis Wi-Fi. Marknaden Omicho och slottsparken Kanazawa ligger båda 5 minuters promenad bort. The room was nice and traditional. A hot bath is available and can be used by couples. The host Bungo helped us book bus tickets for Shirakawago (if you want to go, book in advance) and helped call a taxi for when we left. The building and garden suffered some minor damages from the January 1st earthquake, we hope repairs go well.

Boasting a 200-year history, Motoyu Ishiya features classic architecture, an original Noh stage and a garden. Perfect slow down stop after a week travelling Japan! Traditional Japanese hospitality at its best, lovely ryonkan not far from Kanazawa. We were travelling with ouf 8 months son and the staff did a fantastic job trying to accomodate our needs. Boasting indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and a waterside Japanese garden, Matsusaki is a 20-minute drive from JR Matsuto Train Station. Food was fantastic and filling, no need for lunch as breakfast will last you till dinner which is even more filling. Great place to relax, recharge, get a inroom massage is recommended, onsen experience, we had our own inroom onsen as well, looking out to the private garden. Great service, our host Natalie was multilingual so made the experience even easier for us.

Everything works and you definitely have what you need. They play a very peaceful background music which adds to the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent.
