The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

Yurian is located in Ibusuki, 10 km from Ibusuki Onsen. There is a pool and hot springs bath on site. Pool and hot springs bath water are replaced 2 times a day. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

A 5-minute walk from Tenmonkandori Tram Station, Nakahara Bessou offers Japanese-style and Western accommodations with a flat-screen TV and refreshing public hot-spring baths. The staff are very friendly and make great efforts to help. The hotel is traditional with kind of unhurried pace and subtle respect to guests. Location is best especially for visitors on short visits to Kagoshima.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Dinner was abundant, onsen facilities were great and the room was huge!

Japanese-style rooms with Nitanda River views, green tea and traditional futon bedding await guests at Ryokan Kawakyu, located a 8-minute drive from JR Ibusuki Train Station. Our host is very knowledgeable and provides excellent service, the traditional breakfast was wonderful and the dinner was even better. The on-site onset was a welcome end of the day.

LiVEMAX RESORT Sakurajima Sea Front se găsește în Tarumizu, la aproximativ 38 km de Arena Kushira Heiwa și la 41 km de Cascada Ogawa-no-Taki. Hotel looks quite old from the outside but the rooms have been recently renovated and are spacious are very nice. Onsen is gender separated and changes overnight (with view on Sakurajima and special "carbonated bath"). Food was outstanding: one of the best ever had! Overall highly satisfied.
