The picturesque Japanese-style guest house Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast is centrally located in Nara, 10 minutes by taxi from JR Nara Station. One of the best places I have ever stayed. The host was the niccest lady. Really good Japanese breakfast as well.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Unique experience! Totally fine for a solo traveller. Rooms are tatami+futon and absolutely huge. There's a communal bath that is very good. Food was also very nice.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Dinner was excellent and very interesting, lots of new flavors and the waitress was super nice. Same with the breakfast, excellent. The onsen was amazing and the room was beautiful, very big, and had everything we could ever need. It was also super close to the station. The consierge spoke at least japanese, english and spanish. I would totally recommend and stay there again.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lovely location in the forest -- it's very quiet and scenic. At the same time it's still accessible by taxi so no issues even if you have more luggage. Great wooden bathtub and amazing bathroom products (full Aesop range). Tasty, varied and well portioned meals. You really feel spoiled by the staff, e.g. alcohol is included with meals, free minibar, complimentary matcha tea and snacks.

The host was extremely kind. She always made sure we had everything we needed before leaving and coming back from our daily trips. It was like staying at some "real Japanese people's home".

The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.

Everything Best hospitality, owner are very Nice people and kind. Very good sake too. Everything local. Clean The room with outside bathub was really stuning The area was Nice, slow Life japan. With an amazing smell of Cedar wood. Nice Onsen and seesith in doragawa. They accept tattoo !!

Kakimotoya is located near Mount Shigi, a 10-minute taxi ride from JR Oji Train Station. We were pleasantly surprised by the meals provided at the Ryokan. Meals were beautifully prepared. We didn't get to experience the bath but we hope to next time. Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The staff were all so kind.

Beautiful ryokan with English-speaking staff and a private-use onsen. Only a 10 minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station and close to Nara Park and located in a gorgeous part of town. Beds (futons) were very comfortable, free wifi, large room - I would stay here again if in Nara.
