The location is hidden between the mountains next to a beautiful temple. Since it is not accessible by public transportation, they offer services to and from the station. They also drove us to the Adachi Museum.

Ohashikan is a 5-minute drive from JR Matsue Station and a 15-minute walk from Matsue-jo Castle. It offers Japanese-style accommodation with 2 indoor baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. Stunning, authentic and clean room(s), kind and understanding staff who spoke to me slowly in Japanese to assist with checkin, and rules were reiterated in English on documents anyway despite Matsue being relatively rural. Absolutely beautiful view at both night and in the morning, I was shocked! Onsen came free with the stay. Zero complaints, the best stay of our trip around Japan.

This was a luxurious treat and we all enjoyed it from the welcome by the general manager, the hot spring bath, the food, the room. One of our group had a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel provided transport by shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Communications via booking.com worked well.

Counting an almost 200-year history, Fukumakan features Japanese-style rooms and freestanding cottages, some overlooking Miho Bay. We got a beautiful and newly renovated old house in this charming village. Breakfast is good. A bottle of hood sake as welcome gift was most appreciated. The house has a view on the harbour on both levels. There is a sound system and a selection of Jazz CD’s to play. We got shuttle service to the train station.

The hotel is clean and maintained in perfect condition. The environment was very nice and quiet . The crews are perfect. The dinner was of superb style and quality. The stay was fantastic.

Terletak di Ōda, 12km dari Nima Sand Museum, Ryokan Masuya mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. The front desk was great! they helped us booking rides to the silver mine and letting us know about the performance at a nearby shrine. I got sick later in the stay and the staff were very helpful getting some cold medicine in this small town with no pharmacy. The onsen/bathing facilities were small (as it is a small inn) and were very nice. The town was lovely but small so if you come at a busy time I suggest booking some of the restaurants. We did not book the food at the inn so I don't know how it was.
