Restaurant was very good as was breakfast and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a stopover for us on way to Italy just ten minutes or so off main road so worked well.

Beautiful breakfast buffet, with an assortment of pastries, yogurt, juice, coffee, even an egg-cooker. Charming vegetable garden on the grounds, from which come many of the foods they serve in the restaurant. The pool is a gem. And the family that runs the hotel couldn't be nicer. A wonderful place to stay if you're visiting the Château de Chambord.

The proprietor and his wife were very friendly and helpful about places to eat for dinner (although they don't speak much English we speak a bit of French) - we ate at a popular pizza place down the road cos they had vegetarian options - and the breakfast in the hotel was excellent. The location, in the Sologne, not far from the Loire, is good for central France if you want to stay rural and there are pleasant local walks through woodlands and by lakes.
Logis Hôtel du Cygne is located in the heart of Bracieux on the Loire Castles Route, 20 km from Blois, 8 km from Chambord and 10 km from Cheverny.

If you read the instruction about this hotel, you will know this is hotel with quite long history. Peaceful and silent. The room is also large and clean. Especially they have a well decorated and equipped Salon. Here you can have a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. The man at the receipt is very friendly, introduce us the good restaurants nearby. Furthermore, he has a nice cat!
The parking is also convenient. but if you drive here, pay attention to the board leading you to the parking lot. You cannot directly drive in from the front door on the Google map, the car entrance is in a lateral small street
A nice house in a small village of Thoury located near Chambord and within max 1h drive for a wide range of castles in Val de la Loire. The house has all amenities mentioned and has enough space for a family of 4. We fully enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!
