The staff and the house was lovely, highly recommended staying here. Out of our two week trip of Scotland this was our favourite place to stay.
The cladding on the garage made all the difference on the looks was well worth all the money to do it

Everything was fantastic. We received a really warm welcome, & had a drink in the conservatory overlooking the Loch. The room was spacious & the bed was so comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. I can't fault this hotel and can't wait to go back.

The hosts were adorable and friendly and extremely helpful. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Foyers Bay Country House is a beautiful place to stay in very comfy rooms, in a green and peaceful setting, with lots of animals strolling around the house. The view on the loch is also great !

Quirky hotel with a great personality. Lovely staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. Ate dinner both nights of our stay and it was lovely - especially the beef chilli! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Place is great and affordable - quiet, safe and very very clean. It has clean and warm (very appreciated during cold evenings) bathrooms, comfortable beds, enough space in room and additional space for relaxing in main building. It is easy to access by bus, close to castle and wood walks. App. 10min walk to village center.

Wonderful place on the south side of Loch Ness. The waterfall is spectacular and the hiking in woodland is astounding. It’s one of the few places around the lake where you can actually hike along the coast..

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world.
Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world. It is in the country side therefore you can see a part of Scotland that the usual tourist doesn't see. I loved the garden and the rambling old house, looking over Loch Ness. The most important part was the comfortable bed and quite well appointed room. The owners were delightful and made us very comfortable. It is not far from a local pub where you can get a lovely meal. The breakfast that was included was scrumptious and substantial. I wish we had stayed a bit longer.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Chris at Foyers and loved every moment of our stay. The property and setting are beautiful with a view from the dining room of the pretty garden and it's wildlife as well as a direct view to Loch Ness. Our pretty room was great, with everything we needed including a private door to a small enclosed area and the garden - perfect for our dog. Elly whipped up delicious dinner and breakfast and our spaniel, Pringle, loved her breakfast sausage. We were grateful to Chris for his recommendation of dog walking spots which were great. Arrive as guests & leave as friends - we did! Can't wait to return for longer.

It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights.
It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights. We walked from our hotel down to the Loch and back up through a beautiful wood by the river. It was a strenuous walk, lots of steps up but really lovely. Foyers is a small village spread down the valley from the road. Not a lot to do at night but if come prepared to entertain yourself it's tranquil and restful. Short drive to Inverness and things to do on the Loch in the day. We really enjoyed our time there and we would go back.

A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops.
A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops. Very little traffic. Excellent scenery. Tourist attraction Falls of Foyers. Not far away from Fort Augustus where the Caledonian Canal begins where one can see the road bridge opening and the lock gates opening and various boats navigating the locks on their way up the canal. From Foyers Inverness is a short drive away with its excellent shopping, Castle, indoor market, Theatre, miniature railway, Cruises to look for Dolphins, Fort George a very old military fort constructed to protect the forts inhabitants from attack by an enemy.
The hotel was a lovely family run business that pays great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was first class and fresh and catered for all the gluten free needs of my husband. They welcomed our dog and treated him like the lord that he has now learned to become!! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and the bathroom fully equipped with toiletries. The view to Loch Ness was lovely as was watching the red squirrels at breakfast as well as the birds from the lovely breakfast conservatory.
Where to start, it is in a charming town on the Loch Ness . Tucked away on a hill so you have beautiful views of lake and forest. The house is easy to find with GPS! Home inside is wonderful, a bit of vintage mixed with stylish upgrades! So clean ! Beds were like sleeping on pillows! Anything we needed was graciously accommodated by the lovely hosts Chris and Elly. Easy to get anywhere in highland area! They have some entertainment as well! Absolutely loved it! Hated to leave!
Regular hotel room, was very nice, but nothing extraordinary.
Had loch View.
We had dinner in the restaurant, which was a bit dark and formal for my liking. There was another section that they were using for parties with Dogs, which I think we would have felt a little more at home in. The food was very good and fairly priced.
Breakfast, which was included in our booking rate, was very good, with decent selection.
Chris and Elly are incredibly welcoming. They have a menagerie of creatures to entertain from their own cats and friendly rooster to regular visits from a pair of pheasants, a nightly badger visitor, deer and numerous birds. A very short drive or downhill walk has you at Loch Ness - which you can see through the window as you eat breakfast.
We had a lovely view of the Loch from our bedroom which was really nice. We had our dinner on the terrace overlooking Loch Ness, it was very sunny and there were no midges which was a huge bonus. The rooms were very pleasant, nicely decorated and comfortable. We were given a glass of prosecco each on arrival which was a lovely gesture.
It is in the lovely village of Foyers with great views, peace and quiet, great hiking and natural wonders.
The property was clean and very nice, and several of the resident kitties greet you. Louise and Terry work so very hard and make your stay amazing. Highly recommended!
We liked the location at south of loch ness! We had a big and clean room! The bathroom (shower and toilet are in two seperate room) is shared with two other room wich was no problem. The location has a restaurant that serves food until 8.15pm and a great whysky bar!
Absolutely amazing atmosphere inside of the lodge. fully furnished, had all kitchen appliances, everything was in a great condition, very clean house, very quiet area. that’s definitely the best place to be and definitely coming back.
Staff were super friendly and helped out with any questions we had. Room was pretty spacious and nice. Hotel is in a nice location between Inverness and Fort Augustus so was a nice place to rest when holiday.
great view of Loch Ness. Beautiful old hotel. The best dinner here, that we have had in 3 weeks of traveling. Staff was the friendliest, the most helpful of any on our trip.
View of Loch Ness from the hotel was superb. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The food served for dinner and breakfast was very tasty.
The location of the hotel is stunning with a view to Loch Ness. The hotel itself is also very nice, comfortable with friendly staff! We enjoyed our stay there!
Brilliant location opposite foyers falls and easy drive to all other amenities around loch ness. Room was clean and spacious with plentiful on site parking.
The view from our room was spectacular. Staff were very friendly. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was clean. The dinner at Foyers House was excellent.
