The room was dirty and had not been cleaned, used sheets, over flowing bin, dirty bathroom, unswept floor. Luckily there was a number to call to direct me to clean bedding. No compensation was offered. Booking.com also dealt with this poorly. Had this been resolved I would not feel the need to leave a bad review however this dirty room cost over £80

Amazing host and location, very clean and comfy. Shame we only stayed for 1 night on our trip to different location. Very recommended for few days stay. ❤️
Wonderful place on the south side of Loch Ness. The waterfall is spectacular and the hiking in woodland is astounding. It’s one of the few places around the lake where you can actually hike along the coast..

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world.
Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world. It is in the country side therefore you can see a part of Scotland that the usual tourist doesn't see. I loved the garden and the rambling old house, looking over Loch Ness. The most important part was the comfortable bed and quite well appointed room. The owners were delightful and made us very comfortable. It is not far from a local pub where you can get a lovely meal. The breakfast that was included was scrumptious and substantial. I wish we had stayed a bit longer.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Chris at Foyers and loved every moment of our stay. The property and setting are beautiful with a view from the dining room of the pretty garden and it's wildlife as well as a direct view to Loch Ness. Our pretty room was great, with everything we needed including a private door to a small enclosed area and the garden - perfect for our dog. Elly whipped up delicious dinner and breakfast and our spaniel, Pringle, loved her breakfast sausage. We were grateful to Chris for his recommendation of dog walking spots which were great. Arrive as guests & leave as friends - we did! Can't wait to return for longer.

It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights.
It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights. We walked from our hotel down to the Loch and back up through a beautiful wood by the river. It was a strenuous walk, lots of steps up but really lovely. Foyers is a small village spread down the valley from the road. Not a lot to do at night but if come prepared to entertain yourself it's tranquil and restful. Short drive to Inverness and things to do on the Loch in the day. We really enjoyed our time there and we would go back.

A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops.
A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops. Very little traffic. Excellent scenery. Tourist attraction Falls of Foyers. Not far away from Fort Augustus where the Caledonian Canal begins where one can see the road bridge opening and the lock gates opening and various boats navigating the locks on their way up the canal. From Foyers Inverness is a short drive away with its excellent shopping, Castle, indoor market, Theatre, miniature railway, Cruises to look for Dolphins, Fort George a very old military fort constructed to protect the forts inhabitants from attack by an enemy.
Regular hotel room, was very nice, but nothing extraordinary.
Had loch View.
We had dinner in the restaurant, which was a bit dark and formal for my liking. There was another section that they were using for parties with Dogs, which I think we would have felt a little more at home in. The food was very good and fairly priced.
Breakfast, which was included in our booking rate, was very good, with decent selection.
The location as the hotel is in a very peaceful area overlooking Loch Ness with views from the rooms at the front of the hotel, the bar and from the garden where there is seating. The service and food were good and also the interaction with Nigel and Richard the owners and their staff. We enjoyed our stay and is in an ideal position for exploring the area.
Chris and Elly are incredibly welcoming. They have a menagerie of creatures to entertain from their own cats and friendly rooster to regular visits from a pair of pheasants, a nightly badger visitor, deer and numerous birds. A very short drive or downhill walk has you at Loch Ness - which you can see through the window as you eat breakfast.
The room we were allocated was very large and could be considered a suite in a lot of other hotels. The hotel is located nearby to a great woodland walk encompassing the Falls of Foyers.
The breakfast was an exceptional surprise and I am upset that we didn't have cause to stay for lunch or dinner to experience the other offerings.
Foyers House was absolutely perfect. Loved that it was adult only!
Rooms were spotless, amazing breakfasts and evening meals in the restaurant were delicious.
Loved the little bar 'The Wee Dram'
Louise and Terry were lovely hosts and not forgetting the friendliest cat who met us in the car park everyone we came back from a trip!
The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate requests. We had dinner in their restaurant which was very flavoursome. The front of the hotel and the restaurant has amazing views of the loch and it is set in a lovely environment and a very well kempt garden.
We loved our stay at Foyers Bay. Really comfy room and bed, super friendly owners, a delicious breakfast and evening meals. We especially loved the view of Loch Ness from our room window and being able to watch the red squirrel and birds in the garden. We would definitely stay here again.
The friendliness, the breakfast, the location. Know that while it's not hard to find, it's not right on the road side. It is off a small road down what is almost a country driveway, past multiple houses. There is a sign at the turn-off into the long drive. Well worth it though!!
We liked the location at south of loch ness! We had a big and clean room! The bathroom (shower and toilet are in two seperate room) is shared with two other room wich was no problem. The location has a restaurant that serves food until 8.15pm and a great whysky bar!
We had a wonderful time. The location is incredible, so beautiful overlooking Loch Ness, lovely breakfast and Chris and Elly the perfect hosts. Great information provided for places to visit and eat. We would definitely recommend Foyers Bay Country House.
The hotel has a beautiful location in a small town on the shores of Loch Ness. The hotel overlooks the lake. The view in the morning over an absolutely still lake surface was spectacular.
The dinner at the onsite restaurant was also fantastic.
Amazing property in stunning location with wonderful balcony view over Loch Ness. Only one lodge next door, well screened so very private. Towels and robes for the hot tub provided. We had everything we needed, although see comment below.
Beautiful scenery, views of the loch from the window. The room was lovely, clean, spacious as was the lobby and shower facilities. I could not fault the hotel, it was really cosy and houses everything needed.
Beautiful setting, great food! Louise and Terry are wonderful hardworking hosts. Make reservations at the wee dram and be on time. Delicious and a beautiful view of the Loch while you dine.
The Views were amazing.
the hotel is set in a picturesque location and is a fantastic place to stay.
hospitality was second to none, food and drink were lovely.
we were made really welcome.
