An eyesore upon arrival, loved the yurt it was massive but the fire was way too small it needs to be bigger, needs more outdoor lights more secure ground work with drainage, mixed shower/toilet block, £10 per bag of fire lighting equipment and was only allowed to buy one per night and because the fire wouldn’t stay lit we frize so checked out early. Would only recommend staying with small children if you stay in the summer

We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it.

We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it. It also has an Art creation “Time & Tide Bells” erected in the sea, that rings with the stronger waves at high tide. There are 13 of these bells 🔔 across the country, to bring more awareness of the imminent threats of climate change. The Clay Factory on the other side of the beach, spoils the view a bit. It’s meant to be replaced by a marina in time to come. We visited the beautiful harbour of Charlestown and walked the SW Coastal Path to Porthpean to round of our wonderful visit to that part of St Austell, Cornwall.

The cabin was amazing. We arrived late but the warden (Tricia) was available immediately in a phone call. She took us to the cabin and gave us a quick overview. The main park was closed so not many people around but I am sure it will be buzzing when the season comes. The cabin itself was amazing, all amenities were good. The heater warmed up the entire cabin in minutes. We also had some cider bottles, crones and fresh butter in the fridge as a welcome treat. The stay was amazing overall and a special thanks to Tricia for being so kind.

We stayed two nights at YHA Eden Project. The camping site was lovely and had everything you needed. The pod was warm, and the beds were comfortable with thick duvets. Outside the pod we had a fireplace that was a bit rusty but we only used it to warm up in the evening and roast marshmallows. We didn't make use of the kitchenette as we were exploring the area and eating out, but I am sure that it had everything needed to prepare meals. Also we ordered food from the bar area in our last evening. The food was amazing and served hot.

Everything, nothing at all to dislike. Apartment was amazing, we stayed in Butler's attic worth every step climbed, the silence on waking was perfection. Rachel and David our hosts greeted us on arrival and waived us off when we left, it was lovely to meet them both. Perfect location for visiting Eden project, lost gardens of Heligan, Charlstown, Fowey, Falmouth by ferry and St Mawes really worth visiting too. I really hope we return one day. Thank you again Rachel and David.

Had a lovely stay, hosted by attentive and kind owners that keep a professional, clean, and relaxing place to use as a base for walking the coast path. While not ON the coast, the walk to Carylon Bay was easy, and that means you can end your walking day at the food trucks/music/bar on this huge beach! Breakfast was lovely, the area around the hotel is quiet, property is updated and clean, no complaints at all!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything here was great. The breakfast was exceptional. Had dinner at the restraunt which was really good. Used the bar food one evening which was equally good. Lots of parking space and location leaves all areas of Cornwall very accessable. Prices are very reasonable for a 4 star hotel. All the staff were most helpful and friendly. Unable to fing fault anywhere.

The fact that everything was dog friendly. The tidiness of the caravan park. The facilities and the caravan itself. The local pubs walking distance away. The coastal footpath to Polcerris and the big expanse of beach. 5 nights was not long enough.
