Beautifully, recently renovated period property offering the best of boutique vacation. The food was outstanding, some of the best I’ve eaten, and the bedroom was super comfy with a huge bed and river view. The staff were attentive, friendly and relaxed. We would highly recommend this stay.

An eyesore upon arrival, loved the yurt it was massive but the fire was way too small it needs to be bigger, needs more outdoor lights more secure ground work with drainage, mixed shower/toilet block, £10 per bag of fire lighting equipment and was only allowed to buy one per night and because the fire wouldn’t stay lit we frize so checked out early. Would only recommend staying with small children if you stay in the summer

We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it. It also has an Art creation “Time & Tide Bells” erected in the sea, that rings with the stronger waves at high tide. There are 13 of these bells 🔔 across the country, to bring more awareness of the imminent threats of climate change. The Clay Factory on the other side of the beach, spoils the view a bit. It’s meant to be replaced by a marina in time to come. We visited the beautiful harbour of Charlestown and walked the SW Coastal Path to Porthpean to round of our wonderful visit to that part of St Austell, Cornwall.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

We didnt spend any time in Par, but, found a fabulous beach about a 5-10 minute drive away called Polkerris. Wonderfull restaurant called Sams, which we ate in the evening. She took us to the cabin and gave us a quick overview. The main park was closed so not many people around but I am sure it will be buzzing when the season comes. The cabin itself was amazing, all amenities were good. The heater warmed up the entire cabin in minutes. We also had some cider bottles, crones and fresh butter in the fridge as a welcome treat. The location was easy to find. The static caravan was newly furnished and had lots of amenities including pans and bowls and complimentary tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash. Just what you need after a long journey. The beach was very close and a lovely day out.
