We have been to this hotel several times since September 2023 and every time we have experienced an excellent stay. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and professional - this is in all aspects e.g. reception, cleaners, bar, maintenance staff. This is our 'go to' hotel because we are confident that we will have an excellent stay. There is consistency in the service delivered by staff, facilities and food. Excellent location to university student accommodation and to the town centre. This adds to the comfort and convenience of the stay.

The property was very modern and easy to get to if you have a GPS! We particularly liked the friendly staff , the breakfast and the cost of the room which was around 69£ which was extremely reasonable. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in a nice rural location so make sure you have your own transport. The hotel leisure facilities are first rate so make sure you use them. We would have liked to use the spa but there were restrictive times due to the gym being refurbished. Bring your golf clubs because there is an excellent golf club on site. The food in the bar and the restaurant are very good which is very handy as you are out in the countryside. Not forthcoming or honest when cancellation requested. Suggested because it was busy bank holiday they had turned away customers and would loose out if they refunded us when in actual fact they had four similar rooms available at 17.47 hours??

We enjoyed our visit and the location allowed us to visit the moors and Plymouth easily. There is a park and ride to Plymouth though we didn't use it. It wasn't school holiday time so we had no problem with parking.
