The hotel is a nice facility with friendly staff. Some typical clients should be reminded that this is a family hotel, but if you manage to void those and their peak pool times, you are OK.

The place was very clean, hot water and nicely decorated; both sofas were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. We checked in late but the attendant (forgot his name) was very kind, fast and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
Conveniently located 300 metres from the beach and 5 minutes from Rota´s old town, the marina and the fishing port, Hostal Restaurante La Giralda is only a 20-minute drive from the famous golf courses...

the location is excellent being tight in the beach.
I think Rota is a cute town. There's enough to do for a getaway either as a single, or even with a partner or family. I have been to Rota three times within a single month and I would definitely go back. One of my favorite places to enjoy brunch was a restaurtant named Oklahomas. The food is so delicous. It is quite easy to get around Rota!

Despite superb sandy beaches and a nice old city centre Rota...
Despite superb sandy beaches and a nice old city centre Rota is not over-exploited as a tourist destination. It is a rather quiet town, ideal for a restful vacation, and small enough to be able to reach most places by foot. There is a catamaran service to Cadiz several times per day, weather permitting.

Loved the laid back atmosphere of Rota and the sunny warm weather. We walked everywhere and did not rent a car because of parking issues.
Next trip I will rent an apt on the beach instead of a 10-15 min walk.

Difficult to find this apartment on all of the one way...
Difficult to find this apartment on all of the one way streets. Parking was extremely difficult as we could not get close to the apartment The hosts were very late to meet us to give us the keys. The apartment is very dated compared to the photographs and was not comfortable. Very noisy at nights with kids hanging out in the laneway late. A noisy one way (rat run) road at front of apartment with strictly no parking, not even close by. One bathroom only and it's a small one person bathroom. Small kitchen, quite dated. The beds were not comfortable. We left after three nights into our seven night stay and the host very casual about that.

Nice town for a beach holiday.
Nice town for a beach holiday. The town itself has a lot to offer in terms of food, drink, atmosphere, beaches... but there are also very interesting places around worth visiting: Doñana if you like birdwatching, Cadiz capital (take the catamaran from Rota to get there, don’t drive!), Puerto de Santamaria (nice castle), wineries....
I spent two nights in this Hostal. Amazing value compared with the offers around in Rota. (beginning of high season). It's a simple room. Spotless though. It got cleaned daily! Less than 5 minutes walking distance to the beach through the main street.
Confi bed, aircon in the room, close to the terrace, TV and music, soap and towels provided. There is no hairdryer though.
This apartment was in a prime location. A few steps from the castle (you can see the castle from the apartment!) And a few steps from a gorgeous beach with cafes all along. It is in a great section of Rota. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts are wonderful people... So helpful and sweet!
A great taste of the heart of Rota!
Easy access by walking or getting dropped off onto Calle Alcalde Garcia (walking street) from either the Maria Auxiliadora/Plaza San Roque end or Calle Prim/Plaza de España/city hall end. Clean and comfortable. Can’t wait until they finish work on all the rooms!
Amazing location. Everything is within a walkable distance. The room was simple and clean. Perfect for myself and son for a weekend swim competition in Rota. Antonio welcomed us as and was an amazing host. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave great suggestions for dining.
It was a large room in a modern Hotel. It had everything one wanted, inc. a fridge for our sparkling water. The shower and hot water were ok. We had breakfast in the restaurant, which was fine. But can not comment on other meals as we were not eating there.
Amazing and beautiful hotel, few meters from beach and from main "plaza", so lot of restaurants in touch. Nice and clean room, with big beds. Beautiful pool (I cannot have chance to try it but it looks nice and clean). I hope I will come in future again.
Fantastic duplex room with roof terrace exceeded expectations. Clean. Nice staff. Easy to find street parking short walk to beach and restaurants which were great and recommend by reception staff. Overall lovely little family run hotel
We have stayed at the Hotel Caribe many times. It is both comfortable and very clean. It is just a stone throw away from the beautiful beach of Rota. It now has a wonderful restaurant at the rear of the entrance of the hotel.
The location is great in Rota, the host is fabulous. Very service oriented, hospitable and a nice person. And the apartment is very wel provided. Free parking is nearby at the port of Rota. Had a great stay.
This is a great family hotel, overly enjoyable and sitting on a fantastic beach. Great food (specially in la Gaviota) all paired with the legendary Andalusian simpathy and hospitality. Will be back
the hotel is located right on the beachfront and we had a lovely view from our private balcony. it is also in easy walking distance of the town so we could go for coffee, meals, and shopping.
