The owner (a biker himself) let me use a garage to park my motorbike. He instantly provided a cold beer on arrival on a hot day. My room was at the back of the property, which meant it was quiet even with the window open.

Pretty town....very walkable.
Pretty town....very walkable. The fosse Dionne was incredible and worth the visit. The Hotel Dieu and notre Dame are worthy of spending time as is the incredible Chevalier D'eon museum. We had the luxury of staying here and I wish it had been longer as Phillippe Luyt (a descendant of the Chevalier) runs the place and can take you through the museum...alas, he has only a little english and moi only a little French. The people of this town were delightful and friendly and the food wonderful.

the place was quiet but enough to entertain us for a couple of days. Couple of restaurants and bars. It was a very good base for cycling to nyores and Chablis. Great bit of history with the water spring. People are very friendly even with our poor french they helped us out as much as possible. Good wine recommendationsCatherineUnited Kingdom

The hotel is a gorgeous mix of old and modern twist with beautiful stone floors and a cave like restaurant. The room was large and spacious and we made the most of the stone plunge pool, so relaxing! The food in the restaurant was delicious, particularly the fillet of Charolay beef. I cannot tell you how impressed we were and the value for money!
