Very nice place to stay. Liked the afternoon tea. Very friendly staff. Beautiful gardens with lots of space for walks - this was an unexpected bonus. We walked from the property into the village which was very pretty.

Ateugglws to get a table in the restaurant. The food was good but we had to sit near an open door, which was draughty. The bathroom was a bit tired but adequate. The bed was rock hard. I was told the mattress was brand new. Not convinced. Still it was cheap, so you can't expect luxury. We didn't get a good night's sleep due to other patrons deciding to have a conversation outside our room at midnight, and then leaving in the early hours noisily. Very relaxed atmosphere. It was more akin to staying in a friends house rather than a hotel. Very friendly owners.
