Amazing place - great views and very hospitable people. The breakfast was also great, including many homemade local delicacies and very friendly and hospitable staff. Nikos and all staff at the hotel were very welcoming, hospitable and helpful, including offering advice on what to do and see (and also offering a lift from car parking and back with our luggage on a magic mini-bus- thank you!)

The hotel is in one of the best locations and yet very quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs, and the room was super clean and always very warm (visited during winter).

Papigko is a beautiful village, cobbled streets with quaint shops, bars and restaurants and stunning views of surrounding mountains. The only disappointment was that it seems in mid-September many bars and restaurants seem to close for at least a week break (some maybe a little longer). We were informed it was a break before the autumn/winter season starts. However there was still some places to eat and drink so all was ok. Lots a walking trails around for keen hikers. Well worth a visit to this Village, you would not be disappointed.

we visited during summer and it was the busiest village of Zagoria which made it more socializing than others. Also it has cute coffee shops and
tavernas almost every corner. It also has access to multiple good hiking routes as well as springs and lake so you dont have to travel far to access hiking paths if you are short in time or dont want to do another adventurous car ride up in the mountain.

There are tons of things to do in and around Papigko. From the walks around the picturesque village, to exploring the culinary experiences on offer, to the serene hikes and the Papigko rock pools. Before reaching Papigko, be sure to stop on the banks of the Boithomatis river and have a dip in the cold waters on a hot summer's day. The place is equally as breathtaking in the winter as it is in the summer. The air is clean it almost has a taste to it from all the lovely flora and fauna. Don't miss out, go there and you will find welcoming locals and memories to last you a lifetime.

When you are at Papigko, you should visit Ovries, the local summer natural complex of small pools between Mikro and Megalo Papigko. Mikro Papigko for its nice view from to of the mountain and for hiking to Drakolimni. River Voidomatis for rafting is another location to visit.
The location is astonishing and the hotel was fitting just right into it. Combining the traditional architecture with modern design and cozy interiors. Our room was a studio with fire place, a double bed and a couch. The use of the spa with sauna and a swimming pool was just amazing! The breakfast was gorgeous and generally the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Try the tagliata, it is worth it!
The personal was very kind and helpful. They transported our luggage and took along me and our small kid up to the hotel.
The hotel was super beautiful with a very good traditional taste! So clean, staff super friendly and the location is so convenient if you want to go around and see other places on foot. Around the hotel area there are plenty of choices to go for food and drinks. The hostess was so kind to wake up way earlier and prepare us breakfast, because the next day we would begin our hiking adventure and we had to leave sooner than the breakfast time. This kind of hospitality is the one you are looking for!
Morfeas guesthouse was an amazing place to stay! The rooms were confortable and clean and the decoration was nice following the traditional standards. The warm welcome combined with the history of the building from the owner, Giota, as Morfeas used to be the house of Giota's family, and the great breakfast provided with many local products, made our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend Morfeas guesthouse to all future travellers to beautiful Papigo and we would definitely return!!!
Morfeas guest house has a special History, Giota, the lady who runs this small hotel, grows a beautiful vegetable garden, makes her own wine and bread and fix a delightful breakfast. Our room was tidy and perfectly clean. Very simple but unic. The village of Papigko is the most beautiful villages of Zaguria, and it is a very good point for trekking.
we truly recommend staying with Giota, and once in the area, I’m sure we’ll come back.
The little house was delightful and very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and the provenance amazing - all home grown and sourced from the family’s animals. This family run hotel and restaurant is an absolute delight and excellent value for money.
The hotel is majestic with a local traditional architecture whereas the rooms have a beautiful minimal/rustic architecture. The host Mr Giorgos is the most welcome host we've seen yet, always helpful and with a smile. The view from the room was breathtaking. Totally our stay was exquisite.
One of a kind hotel, absolutely beautiful premises, amazing location with mesmerising view, and moreover George is the most wonderful host ever! We will definitely be back! From what we observed this hotel is the best in comparison to all others including location being the best.
We were a family of 5 visiting at Papigo and we loved Absolutely everything!!!
Golfo is the best host, we could stay there a week more had it been possible . The road is a bit challenging but after going up once it turned to be a piece of Cake 😊
Such a lovely and attentive host! Good breakfast and beautiful location. The village is just right with balanced tourist facilities and authentic feeling.
Wish we could come in the autumn or spring to make more use of the hiking opportunities.
This is a lovely clean and unique place managed by Elias, a gentle attentive host. The small village of Papingo sits up on the mountain and is beautiful. A few nice cafés and restaurants are in walking distance. very recommended!
This hotel, which feels more like a tiny village within the charming village of Megalo Papigo, was absolutely wonderful. Huge, delicious breakfast, comfy beds and delightful innkeeper with a good sense of humor.
Lovely Vasilia and her son Greg were wonderfull hostes gave us unforgatble welcome and stay.

The village is wow, very uniqe!
Wonderful place at a lovely village. Great location at the entrance of the village, right where some tours of the region start. All restaurants in the village are in few minutes walk.
The room is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, as part of a beautiful building complex overlooking Papigo. The staff were so kind and helpful. A perfect stay.
The village is gorgeous. The hotel has a great location to walk around. The breakfast is really nice.
The room has a traditional sense which we liked a lot.
Homey in the best way- every detail of the place was chosen with care
The view is the best in the village (it's higher than the rest)
Wonderful caring owners
