It is probably impossible to stay in Trakai closer to the castle than here. We've booked an economy room, but it was absolutely comfortable enough. What's more, we've got it more than a hour before time of check-in, what was very nice (I asked about parking place before 3 pm only, but friendly staff proposed to check-in earlier).
I'm totally satisfied with the stay.
Surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape of hills and pine forests, this hotel offers a tranquil setting on a picturesque peninsula of Lake Margis, 8 km from Trakai and 35 km west of Vilnius.

A very calm place with an amazing garden and a super friendly host. However, if you're on diet DO NOT even think about their breakfast. It's huge and so good that you won't be able to stop eating :)

A lovely, clean apartment with a well-furnished kitchen, 15 minutes on foot from the castle. The lake is just two minutes away, even if you can't see it from the window. The host is very reactive and kind.

Trakai is a super relaxing place to visit.
Trakai is a super relaxing place to visit. Many do it as a day trip from Vilnius, but I spent four nights there. The weather was glorious so there was a boat trip, swimming and plenty of walking. I was there to explore the Karaim and their culture. The castle museum is certainly worth a visit.

It is a small town and during summer the place is packed.
It is a small town and during summer the place is packed. The beach front is full with restoranes and it is not easy to get a table. When you go to the other side of the streat it is much easier to find a table and I suspect, that the food even might be better. The lake is full with different atractions to chose from and all not very expensive. The castle is a place you must see, even if the ticket is a bit expensive. The stores we found were little and not much variety in food or drinks.. I was there for one day only, surely more days are needed in order to explore everything.

Wonderful historical place, lots of photoshoot locations,...
Wonderful historical place, lots of photoshoot locations, interesting museum collection and music concerts in the castle hall. Moderate entrance fee and a big variety of souvenirs for reasonable prices. Tasty local cuisine and many lakes around. A medieval lover dream :)
The location couldn't be more central. The view of the lake and the castle from the room was really nice. Comfortable beds, good shower stream, clean room and bathroom. A bonus was there were bathrobes and slippers provided, also having a fridge in the room was very helpful.
Gražina, the receptionist, is a great and very professional asset to this hotel, who has a warm and friendly personality and is very helpful. The check-in and check-out went very smoothly and she also has helped us a lot with a parking.
Perfect location, perfect comunication. The best place we've stayed in Trakai. We could even take our dog with us! We found everything we've need. I' ve forgot to buy garlic for the shrimps to grill outside at, they even helped with that. The view from the kitchen is amazing. Besides, water is sooo soft in the shower, my hair became amazing after two days staying there😁😁😁
The location is very beautiful and calm. If you are looking to wind down and relax this is definitely the place. Staff was friendly and helpful and the cabins were cozy and warm, just perfect for cold weather. And last but not least the mushroom risotto from the restaurant was one of the best I ever tasted. Overall fantastic experience and will definitely come back.
We liked everything: spacious apartment for two of us, the feeling of Lithuanian farm and nature, the beautiful lake nearby, swimming in it, kind hosts and the local delicous products we enjoyed: eggs, milk, honey, homemade cheese.
Trakai is very close and Vilnius is also only 30 km away. It was very easy to get there by the car.
Just fantastic, one of the best hotels we have visited in Lithuania. Super-clean, beautiful (even the smallest rooms look luxurius), attentive staff and tasty food in a very cosy restaurant. It was a nice surprise to have, as a gift besides the breakfast, water in beautiful glass goblets and a small fresh-baked doughnut.
Location was excellent, in city centre, within walking distance to all the main objects and the castle. The host was very responsive and welcoming, immediately helped us with any questions or issues we had. The apartment has its own style and personality, in overall a very convenient place for a family stay in Trakai.
Absolutely fantastic location, right on the lake. We were in the middle of a long journey and took a detour to see Trakai Castle. Very glad we stayed here. we were with our dog and he also loved it. The young man on reception at Kempingas Slenyje (I didn’t ask his name because I’m an idiot!) was extremely helpful.
The property was very comfortable and clean! Stayed on the top floor and views were relaxing! Instructions for entering the property were excellent and easy to follow! Having a free place to park our car was very helpful too! Even though the property was close to the road, it was still fairly quiet.
Very clean and new property with closed in yard on the shore of the lake, nice walk by the lake to the center of town and Trakai castle (1 mile away). Helpful and friendly owner, good wi-fi, secured parking, walking distance to the train station.
Such a beautiful property! Idyllic! The family room was huge! The location was picturesque and the hotel matched it perfectly! The lady running the place was very nice. I had a wonderful stay and I would love to stay there again! Thank you :)
Good location.
10 mins walk to the castle.
Lots of parking space.
Has a swing.
Lots of tea, coffee and have a fridge in the room
Large amount of shampoo and conditioner
Good opportunity to stay away for weekend from the city
Everything...so clean and quiet. It is the best location and deal you can get in Trakai. The view is absolutely stunning. It is 12mins walk to the castle, exactly where the tourist are parked. Offers free parking too.
Actually really liked everything-it is right in the center of Trakai -perfect location. Tha place is very spaciuos and has everyhing you could think of. Separate rooms, kitchen, shower...Righto on the lake.
Location is very good. There is a grocery store near by and very good restaurant called Senkelio Karčema. It is a 30 min walk to old town or 5 min drive.
