We were given a tour of our room and shown how to use the television and cable. The hostess mentioned there may be issues with the wifi as it had gone down the night before but we had no issues at all. She gave us an alternate wifi login to use in case we did have issues. We had a great stay.

During a long coast to coast journey this is the best middle point to stop! They provided us the milk from their farm. And even we planned to arrive after reception opening time, dani and Mark left us all the info in a customised piece of paper. Very nice and welcomed. The view in the morning was perfect for our breakfast! Thank you

Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... This is a family run motel with very friendly and informative owners. It looks like you are pulling into someone's home, but the motel is hidden behind. The room was large and lovely with a full kitchen, and even had a jacuzzi. The beds were super comfortable. The town of Hokatika is a seaside gem with beach walks and colorful rocks. The town is small enough to walk about, but large enough to have all the services available and interesting shops.

Surrounded by beautiful native trees and bush land, Aspen Court Motel Franz Josef offers guests free Wi-Fi. Opened in December 2013, the property offers heated rooms with a flat-screen TV. This is an amazing property. One of the highlights of our trip as far as accommodation is concerned. We were to stay here for Christmas Eve and the hosts (Pam and Peter) made sure to advise us well in time to prepare for our stay in Franz Josef as being holiday most shops around would be closed. It's a fantastic, well maintained and extremely clean property

Paparoa Park Motel is situated in Punakaiki. Boasting luggage storage space, some units at the property have a balcony with a sea view. The room was very nice. We liked the view from the porch window and the skylight from where we could see the stars. The property was easy to reach and it was clean. Self check in was very easy.
